The sew day on September 20, 2017 was packed with over 40 ladies and there were 69 quilts turned in and viewed during the bed turning. This large group of quilts brings the total number turned in for 2017 to be 883! It’s so exciting to see the assortment of creative quilts and enjoy how beautiful they are.
Two guests visited the sew day to see what Firehouse Quilts is all about. They were Donna Johnson and Bart Hornor, who are District Team Leaders for Joann Fabric and Craft Stores. It was interesting to hear about the 1,091 new fabric prints that all of their stores have and to be able to have a Q&A session with them. Thank you Debby N for arranging their visit to the FHQ sew day.
