There were 66 quilts turned in at the first sew day of 2018. The pile of these lovely quilts was higher than 15″! This allows us to start rebuilding our inventory of quilts to give to children in crisis across Colorado. The Valentine’s dance for the Highlands Ranch Therapeutic group is coming soon so it was good to see some quilts specifically made for that.
Three beautiful quilts were picked out during sew day to give to Deputy Zackari Parrish’s family soon. We have heavy hearts because of the loss of their husband and father and hope that these quilts will bring them some comfort for years to come. It is our wish that they know that many are thinking of them during this difficult time in their lives.
