At the last sew day on February 15th, the pile of quilts that was turned in was so large that it was almost as tall as Meryl B. There were a total of 89 quilts shown, counted, bagged, and taken to the storage bin. In only four sew days this year we have received 255 quilts, which is surely a record for our volunteers. We have such a generous and productive group of ladies who belong to Firehouse Quilts. There were also two nice donations of fabric that the ladies had a fun time digging through. It’s such fun to see everyone rushing to pick out their favorite colors for future projects and it will be nice to see the finished quilts.
