Four volunteer members of Bikers Against Child Abuse made a surprise visit to the quilt collection event on June 17th. This organization provides emotional support to abused children in conjunction with local and state officials who are in place to protect children. Two members drove their motor cycles as they would for all visits they pay to children, despite the heat. They were given 49 quilts and 211 bags to put into their inventory for the children. The board members of Firehouse Quilts received embroidered name patches from the BACA members which put big smiles on the faces of Ripper, Cutter, Blade, Needle, and Stitch. Thank you for all you do to help the children during their time of healing.
