On November 25th, Suzy, Senior Advocate Supervisor for CASA Denver, met with Firehouse Quilts members to receive 28 donated quilts. The quilts will be handed out to children at a holiday party in a Denver church. The children will take part in a pizza party, meet Santa, and will be able to shop for members of their families. CASA volunteers represent the children who are in the foster care system as a result of abuse or neglect. They speak for them in court until the child finds the perfect permanent home with a safe environment in which to thrive. Thank you to Christie, Lynn, Joyce and Jacque for making this delivery.
