Firehouse Quilts board members and some of their husbands recently prepared for the move to Shiloh House. New cabinets were assembled and all of the fabrics and supplies were moved to the new location for Sew Days. Shiloh House has graciously offered the use of their facility at no cost and has provided space for the many items that are used to make a quilt.
For nearly 13 years the Sew Days for Firehouse Quilts have been held at the Northridge Recreation Center in Highlands Ranch. They will be remodeling the facility in 2017, so it was necessary to find a new location to quilt. Northridge has been very helpful in seeing that Firehouse members were always comfortable and well taken care of on their Sew Days.
A big thanks goes out to Jack M., Bill V., and Jim S. for their assistance in assembling the new cabinets. Without their help, that project would not have been accomplished.
