The weather was perfect for the annual quilting retreat in Estes Park the weekend of September 13 and 14. Seventeen quilting friends attended this retreat, including FHQ members, family, neighbors, and long time friends. The retreat is held at the YMCA of the Rockies each year where the ladies are provided a huge room to spread out and work on personal or Firehouse Quilts projects. They stay in various lodges on the property each year. The time flies by too quickly making everyone anxious to return the next year. Christie M and Mary P are to be thanked for the work they do to make this retreat a success.
