At the last sew day the ladies turned in 61 quilts which is a surprise at this time of year. It’s always so heart warming to see all of the spectacular quilts that have been made for each sew day. This generous number now gives us a total of 1,064 that have been made in 2018! We’re all looking forward to seeing what the final count will be at the end of the year.
There was a special quilt shared by Barbara C, who recently became ill at the Estes Park retreat. The quilt had the greatest frogs on it and put a smile on Barbara’s face when she received it in the hospital. It was made by a quilting group from Fort Collins and donated to the hospital. We are so thankful Barbara has made a full recovery and has returned to our sew days.
