There were a couple of new projects presented at the two sew days in January, 2020. Maureen and Christie showed a quick and easy Fat Quarter Quilt that the members of FHQ could try. There were two boxes filled with fat quarters to choose from for this new pattern. It will be fun to see the quilts come in at future sew days.
Another project discussed is making quilts for an organization called Seven Stars Foundation. There is a need for larger quilts for children of military families stationed in Colorado. They will be meeting at the YMCA Camp in Deckers at the end of June, 2020, and the goal is to be certain that 120 children receive quilts. Firehouse Quilts will have a busy year ahead of them and the hard work of the members is appreciated.
