Due to the spread of the Corona Virus, there will be only one sew day in March. Firehouse Quilts members will have plenty of time to quilt at home and then bring in their finished quilts when we are given the all clear to gather as a large group again. No doubt we will need two tables to stack the quilts on because we usually have more than 75 quilts turned in after only two weeks. At the March 5th sew day there were 80 quilts to view during the bed turning. Along with them there were bags for BACA and baby items for Florence Crittenton High School. Because of the hard work of FHQ members there have already been 375 quilts made in two and a half months in 2020. Everyone stay well and enjoy this extra time to be creative at home.
