During the month of August, Firehouse Quilts has been receiving amazing donations from many places. Patsy, a member who moved to Florida, recently sent eight large Halloween bags for the Therapeutic Recreation dance in October. The varied array of colors and seasonal designs will create excitement to those who receive the bags as door prizes. Peggy, who discovered us through friends, donated 28 quilt tops and backs that are ready to be quilted and bound. The church quilt group that Peggy was attending is no longer getting together so FHQ is the recipient of their generosity and efforts. The third person to make a generous donation to Firehouse Quilts is Joleen. She lives in Wray and loves making quilts as a hobby. She has been a contributor to FHQ for nearly a year. These special people help FHQ to continue with their mission of making quilts for children in crisis and we thank them for that.
