Recently Firehouse Quilts members delivered 20 quilts to Craig Rehabilitation Hospital. It was a rainy, Fall day – perfect for handing out quilts for warmth! We personally handed out two quilts – one to a patient who will be returning to Seattle eventually and another local patient. Others will be distributed by the hospital staff.
This same week we delivered 5 additional quilts to the Evergreen Fire Department to add to their current supply. They are entering their busy season as Evergreen Fire covers the I-70 corridor and winter season is upon us.
