A group of 17 Firehouse Quilts members attended an annual quilting retreat in the beautiful Black Forest area on April 5th – 7th. The retreat was held at the cozy Hideaway Inn. During the retreat the ladies quilted personal, as well as FHQ projects, had delicious meals and snacks, took walks in the woods, and enjoyed each others company. There was a great deal of story telling and laughter shared with the group. It was wonderful that Sherri M., who now lives in Ohio, was able to join this year for all of the fun. A date in May, 2020 has already been reserved for next years retreat.
