On February 9th, Joyce, Jeanne, and Jacque met Jordyn at the Highlands Ranch Starbuck’s to make a quilt donation for the Crisis Center. The center provides safe housing for mothers and their children who are dealing with domestic violence, as well as food, clothing, crisis intervention, and therapy. There are eight rooms for the families and currently six of the rooms are occupied. The client advocates at the facility help with relocation as the women are limited to only a three week stay. The FHQ ladies delivered 27 large quilts and eight snuggle quilts for this center that serves Douglas, El Paso, Arapahoe, and Lincoln counties.
