On May 17, Garrett received 28 quilts, 2 receiving blankets, and 1 afghan. Sacred Heart House of Denver is a former convent next to Sacred Heart School. The programs at Sacred Heart are focused on meeting the needs of single mothers with children and single women experiencing homelessness. The goal is for them to move to stable housing and maintain self-sufficiency. At this time, no one is actually living there. Because of COVID, the clients are housed in hotels. The staff is working on getting permission to open back up.
