On August 24th, there were 64 quilts safely dropped off at the door of Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, in Castle Rock. The quilts were received by Paul, the Director, and Katie, a counselor. This office serves Douglas, Park, and Elbert counties by meeting the needs of individuals and families to help them reach self sufficiency. The biggest need currently is assistance with rent/mortgages, food, and utilities. Clients can meet in the office or are currently given the option of driving up and waiting for curbside assistance from the staff. Thank you to my husband Jim who has helped me with my quilt pick ups at the storage bin and deliveries during the pandemic.
