On February 6, 2020, the volunteers of Firehouse Quilts outdid themselves by turning in 130 quilts. Included in this record number were 27 quilts that were absolutely gorgeous and donated by an anonymous person. The pile of quilts in the bed turning was so tall that it was difficult to see over. This successful day brings the total of quilts turned in for this year to be 241. Not only was there a large number of quilts present, there were over 50 people attending sew day. It was good to see a group of five ladies from Windcrest who came to observe the bed turning and take a look around the room at what projects were being worked on. FHQ has the greatest group of volunteers who are helping children in crisis across Colorado.
