At the April 19th sew day we received an enormous donation of 439.5 yards of fabric from an anonymous donor. The fabrics were all darling “kid” prints which will be useful in making many new quilts for children in crisis. The members had a great time sorting through the fabrics and making their personal choices. At the end of sew day our cabinets were over flowing with what remained of this generous donation. It’s heart warming to be considered for this special donation.
During the bed turning there were gorgeous quilts turned in by the members. It’s always such a treat to see what originality the ladies have when making the quilts. There were 55 quilts turned in bringing the total for the year to 477.
