Recently 75 quilts were delivered to Hope and Help, formerly known as Douglas County Task Force. This facility is open to families who are facing hard times and may be homeless or barely able to make ends meet. This organization is able to provide food from their food bank, clothing from their thrift shop, and toys and games from the birthday room. Jenny, the Deputy Director, interviews clients and assesses their needs. Last year there were over 16,000 clients who were helped at Hope and Help. The quilts that were delivered by Dusty, Lynn, Maureen, Joyce and Jacque will be handed out to children by Santa at a special party. The Volunteer Coordinator, Marion, was kind enough to give a tour of the newly updated facility.
