Firehouse Quilts is pleased to welcome the Thornton Fire Department to the list of fire departments receiving our quilts. Barbara C and Alice Z were warmly welcomed at Station 5 to deliver 24 quilts. These quilts will give the firefighters and paramedics another tool in their toolbox to use while serving the people of Thornton, during a time of crisis.
The Thornton Fire Department has six fire stations, including four medic units, with a workforce of approximately 140 firefighters, medics, command staff and support staff. We look forward to working with the Thornton Fire Department in the future.
