Nearly 350 yards of new fabric were recently purchased from Mary Beth B, who once owned Aspenglow Quilting. She offered Firehouse Quilts a greatly reduced price on the fabrics and also donated 3 complete bolts of fabric. The fabric needed to be cut, washed, dried, and folded so Christie M, Mary P, and Jacque S spent almost six hours at the Wash House Laundromat getting the project completed. The generous owner of the Wash House donated $20.00 towards the washing and drying of the fabrics. A complete stranger helped to fold the many yards of fabric, and a grateful woman donated money to FHQ when she found out where all of the fabric was going. Our charity and all of our hard work is truly appreciated by others.
