In February, nine members of Firehouse Quilts spent the day at the Wash House in Littleton washing over twelve large loads of donated fabrics. Getting such a huge project accomplished took over six hours of working with only one small break. Once the loads were washed they were moved to huge dryers and then there was an abundance of clean fabric to be folded. The fabrics were from donations in late 2019. Without the help of Christie, Mary, Cathy, Dusty, Sarah, Lynn, Marsha, Sarah, and Jacque this project would never have been completed. The cabinets will be overflowing with beautiful new fabrics for the members to make quilts for children in crisis.
